On Thursday, 6th March 2014, Uganda Debt Network successfully launched a third anti-corruption mural at Kigumba Town Council, Kiryandongo District in the Bunyoro Sub-region after one which was officially launched in Busitema, Busia district last year in early December, and another at the Equator in Kayabwe, Mpigi District in 2012. The mural, erected at a strategic point along the Kampala-Gulu-Southern Sudan Highway, was officially launched by the Minister for Ethics and Integrity, Hon. Fr. Simon Lokodo.

Donor ConferenceUDN also successfully held a donor conference on Tuesday, March 4th, 2014. The meeting, held at Hotel Africana in Kampala, was attended by representatives from Concern Worldwide Uganda, Trocaire, DanChurch Aid, Save the Children in Uganda, Diakonia, Plan International, the Inspectorate of Government, and the Democratic Governance Facility (DGF).

UDN was able to update its development partners on project implementation work and also present a financial report for the year 2013. After the various presentations, UDN benefited from a discussion on how to improve her work to achieve desired targets, as per her Stategic Action Plan and Programme (SAPP) and mission.

The DGF Head of Programmes, Mr. Lars Christensen, called on other donors to support UDN through bridge funding as opposed to project funding, to enable UDN implement her SAPP better.
