Florence Florence Nyalulu Begumana is a gender expert and also possesses skills in accounting and M&E and Resource mobilization. Florence has worked as a Programme Manager at TOCBANGH (Tororo Community Based Nursing Homes); Programme Officer Advocacy and Training with Uganda Fisheries and Fish Conservation Association (UFFCA); Training officer – Credit at NAWOU (National Association of Women Organizations of Uganda), among other positions. Between 2002-2008, she was instrumental in the development of Beach Management Units on all Lakes of Uganda and through collaboration was a lead Trainer for Uganda on the Lake Victoria Fisheries Programmes with Kenya and Tanzania and contributed to and participated in the harmonization processes for National Fisheries Policies for East African Countries (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania) that share Lake Victoria.
