CBMES re-launched in Tororo district

Uganda Debt Network launched the Community Based Monitoring and Evaluation System (CBMES) in the district to involve grassroots people in monitoring poverty reduction programmes and performance of government expenditure in service delivery.

The programme is operational in the sub-counties of Paya, Osukuru and Western Division.

Paya sub-county consists of Nabowa, Barinyanga, Paya, Namwendia, Nawire and Sop-Sop parishes while Osukuru consists of Nyalakot, Kayoro, Osukuru and Molukatipe. Western Division accommodates the parishes of Aguluru B, Aguluru P and Bison Maguria Wards.
